Mainland Spain is located in the south-west of Europe. Spain also has two archipelagos and two cities in the north of Africa. There are lots of different types of landscapes and many different types of landforms in Spain.

Physical maps show hills, mountains and low areas of land in different colors so it's easy for us to see them. There is also a key which tells us what each color means.

The Cordillera Cantábrica, the Pyrenees, the Sistema Ibérico, the Sistema Central, the Sierra Morena and the Cordillera Bética are the main mountain ranges in Spain.

4. BIOSPHERE (LIVING THINGS: Animals, plants...)
